We ended up going to Philly for a night this weekend, and it was super fun. We found out some friends were staying in our hotel and spent the evening with them on a whirlwind, multi-national drinking tour of City Center. We sipped wine in France, shared beers in London, and finished the evening with margaritas in Mexico. Hangovers were nursed in Italy.
On the way home we stopped into Terrain. I’d always wanted to visit this place and was so happy when our friends pointed out it was not far off 95. The store is incredible and we felt like we were in the perfectly-designed vacation home of someone cool and trust-funded. We spent about an hour wandering the grounds, sipping coffee, and reminding each other that Volks Wagons don’t have the ass space to hold enormous purchases like bar carts or oversized planters.
We’re planning to head back up in the spring but probably less because we need stuff for the house and more because Rob’s raspberry cupcake was served in an upside down plastic cup and he requires a repeat performance of clever packaging.

I like this. Next time take me
